WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Through this project's success, the young authors have created a teaching tool for tolerance while readers learn true stories of those who survived World War II.
It is our goal these true stories help students of all ages understand the reality of this period of history and learn about the survivors who lived in their midst.
We hope these stories of hope encourage us all to be better human beings.
We Need Additional Stories!
We would like to have stories told about survivors, prison camp liberators and Righteous Gentiles who lived in all 50 states.

We Need Young Authors!
We strive to provide the classroom with an interactive educational experience. Teachers love the fact this project includes:
We have gathered many Holocaust stories but haven't scratched the surface yet. There are many more important stories to tell.
How to get started...
We encourage you to use the press release on this website adding your own contact information for your local newspaper. You might be surprised who responds with a story worth telling. Once that is established, your class interview process and writing project can begin.
Perhaps you will be the next educator having your ordinary students use their gifts and talents to tell extraordinary stories of the Holocaust for future generations of young readers.
